JB Local Legue table leaders Atlabara FC in Wetsern Equatoria tour

16 06 2012 – (JUBA) – Atlabara FC completed their pre-season tour games in Yambio, Western Equatoria State on Friday evening.

Atlabara traveled to the Western on Wednesday and their first game came on Thursday where they won in a thrilling 4-3 victory against Villa FC of Yambio.

The Yellows were held to a frantic 0-0 draw on Friday in their second game of the tour against Nile FC.

The team also visited the tomb of former chairman of the Club and Governor of Western Equatoria State, Late Samuel Abu John upon their arrival.

“We have performerd so well and missed alot of opportunities. The boys were also suffering from fatigue after travelling such a long distance and playing two consective games, we were also told that the teams that we played had combination of players from other teams” William Baptist, Atlabara FC Ass Club secretary told Power Goals form Yambio

Atlabara are the current Juba Local League leaders after the first round with 18 points out of 9 games and are expected back to juba on Sunday.

“Immediately on arrival to Juba we want sign six new players that we came here with, so that other teams can not grab them” William.

The transfer window which started on 15th of June has been so quiet up to now and it will come to end on 30th of June, before the second round of League kick-off.
